Current Road Conditions

I-70 EB/WB Between Eagle and Edwards (milemarker 147-164)  - through August 2013.  7:00 AM-7:00 PM MO-FR, 9:00 AM-7:00 PM SA Single lane closures for paving operations.  Delays possible.

I-70 Eastbound at Silverthorne (milemarker 205) - through May 2013.  8:00 AM-5:00 PM MO-TH and FR until 2:00 PM Shoulder and right lane closures as needed for sign bridge work.  Delays possible.

I-70 EB/WB through and near the Eisenhower/Johnson Tunnels (Milemarker 212-219) - through May 2013 Noon-4p, SU-TH, right lane closed inside the westbound bore for light maintenance.  30 minute delays possible on WE.

I-70 EB at the Twin Tunnels near Idaho Springs (Milemarker 243) - through December 2013.  7:00 AM-5:00 PM MO-TH and FR until 12:00noon, 6:00 PM-6:00 AM WE and TH Single lane closure eastbound.

I-70 WB between the Eisenhower Tunnel and Vail Pass (Milemarker 200) – through May 2013.  6:00 AM-Dark MO-TH and FR until 12:00noon Mobile lane closures westbound at various locations for striping operations.

I-70 WB at Georgetown (milemarker 228-226) - through November 2013.  MO-TH, single lane closure as needed westbound at Georgetown Hill and at Fall River Rd for rockfall fencing and guardrail repair.  20 minute delays throughout the day TU-TH.

NB traffic on Main Street is being detoured onto Park Avenue to Ski Hill Road.

Adams & Jefferson Avenues are closed between the Ridge Street Alley and Main Street.

Construction is being completed on the east side of Main Street currently, then work will switch to the west side of Main Street.

The Colorado Department of Transportation says it has set a target of Thursday, May 23rd at 2pm to open the road over Independece Pass.

Guanella Pass is closed for the season

Cottonwood Pass in Gunnison & Chaffee Counties is closed for the season.

Highway 82 over Independence Pass is closed for the season.

CO-5 Mt Evans closed from Summit Lake to the top. Closed for the season
