She is even more shocked to learn it was moved to her BIP OC community from a predominantly white neighborhood after those parents p rotested. She joins the fight to stop the well and gets connected to the s tate-wide movement to push new wells further away from all communities. Th e conflict erupts in 2018 when a state-wide activist ballot initiative pro mpted a $50 million response from the oil and gas industry\, complete with dirty tricks and sabotage. Finally\, an oil and gas overhaul bill in the 2019 Colorado State Legislature fundamentally shifts the playing field. Bu t\, the Colorado Oil and Gas wars are just a small microcosm of the climat e movement at large.\n\nDoors open at 6:30\, and the film starts at 7:00.
