 n\n\nJIU-JITSU CLASS AGES 12-18 \n\nJiu jitsu increases strength and flex
 ibility\, improves cardiovascular fitness and leads to a state of “runne
 r’s \n\nhigh” through the release of endorphins and other “feel goo
 d” hormones. Over time\, these adaptations can rebalance stress physiolo
 gy and restore the dopaminergic (rewards) system in the brain. While self-
  defense is the most obvious ability gained from jiu jitsu\, the confidenc
 e that one gains from the activity can be applied to all aspects of life.
