DESCRIPTION:Denver’s Magic Beans return April 30th\, 2021 with their thir
 d studio album\, Slice of Life\, a 14 song documentation of a year spent a
 way from the familiar confines of the road.  When the pandemic hit\, Magi
 c Beans had dozens of shows cancelled\, so they hopped into their studio i
 n Denver\, CO and started recording songs. Produced by Magic Beans - and M
 astered by David Glasser (The Grateful Dead’s long time Mastering engine
 er) - Funk\, soul\, live electronica\, and even bluegrass music find their
  way into this songbook from 4 band members that each bring their own flav
 or to the project. The different feels in the double record coexist harmon
 iously as the listener is slowly ramped up throughout the record. By the t
 ime you hit the second vinyl\, the organic sounds of B3 organ and acoustic
  guitar give way to synths and drum sampling almost as if you’re descend
 ing into night.
