The Peaks Trail is a Summit County classic. It’s a point-to-point trail from Breckenridge to Frisco or vice versa, running parallel to the Tenmile Range, offering fantastic wooded hiking and biking. There are also a few points where the trees thin out and you get excellent views of Lake Dillon.
This is a longer trail, coming in at 8 miles. The trailheads are located up Miners Creek Road in Frisco, near the hospital, and just north of Peak 7 base area at Breckenridge Resort.
If you begin in Breck, you’ll climb 328 feet before descending 1,127 feet back to Frisco. – Rob at Friends of the Dillon Ranger District
