When Christy Turner moved to Summit County in 2018, she found work that filled her soul at High Country Conservation. As the community programs director, Christy works on waste reduction, recycling, composting and water conservation. Her latest project is turf replacement. The work has been a natural fit. Christy says, “I felt like a steward of the earth from a young age camping and such. I wanted to protect everything, our natural resources, and keep the outdoors beautiful for generations to come.”
She also loved music from a young age because her dad was a DJ. She found Krystal 93 early on during her time in Summit County and liked what she heard. “I’ve really enjoyed listening to the channel, it’s a nice variety of older stuff and newer things. I really enjoy the programming. And I happened to hear on the radio that if you follow Krystal 93 on Facebook, you could potentially win concert tickets.”
