When Katie Bacon decided to follow Krystal 93 on Facebook and Instagram, it was because she wanted to get local information, news, and details about upcoming concerts. She had no idea it would lead to her getting to see her number one group, Tedeschi Trucks Band at Red Rocks.
“It was kind of funny because I was working at someone’s house and they had Krystal 93 radio station on. And Sally, one of my managers, texted and said someone from Krystal 93 called, you’ve won tickets.” Katie says she didn’t know what to make of it at first. “I said is this a scam? She said, I don’t know.”
Sure enough, it wasn’t a scam. Katie had been thinking about buying tickets to go see Tedeschi Trucks Band before she got the text about winning tickets. “I was just introduced to them about a year ago. I think her voice is absolutely amazing. I had seen they were coming to Red Rocks, so when this all happened and I won tickets, I was pretty stoked.”
