Facebook 14er tickets give a boost to Summit County Pet Food Pantry

We had a huge leap forward in Facebook followers. We now have 13,000 and we’re headed for the elusive top of the 14er! One of our most recent followers is the Summit County Pet Food Pantry. They won a pair of tickets to The Lumineers at Ball Arena with Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats in August.

These tickets give the organization an opportunity to raise money through a silent auction or to use the tickets for fundraising during an upcoming event. Suzanne Ackley is the founder and president of the pet food pantry that has been up and running for just a year. She partners with Family Intercultural Resource Center and the Father Dyer Food Pantry to get pet food to families and their pets in need.

Suzanne says, “We are an all-volunteer non-profit committed to animal welfare and preserving pets as part of the family.” She knows winning a pair of Facebook 14er concert tickets will help the cause. “I can’t imagine someone not wanting these fantastic tickets! We’re looking forward to doing that and raising more money to get more pet food to more families who desperately want to keep their pets in their lives.”

The Summit Pet Food Pantry has several drop-offs if you want to donate. You can find a list of needed items and drop off locations at their website here.
