Flight for Life lands at Dillon City Market for suspected back injury

An injured worker was airlifted from the City Market parking lot in Dillon today after falling 15 feet.

Summit Fire & EMS confirms the worker fell outside while cutting tree branches. The victim could not move and was flown to Denver with a suspect back injury.

Fire officials did not speculate on the extent of injuries but said a situation is “scary” any time Flight for Life is called. They did not say who the victim worked for.

The chopper landed around 1 p.m. and took off about 10 minutes later.
