Human trafficking suspect arrested in Keystone on 6 felonies 

A man wanted for suspected human trafficking, forgery and identity theft is now in custody. 

Dillon police report Manuel Eduardo Torres Hernandez, 23, was arrested Jan. 17. He is wanted in El Paso, Texas for felony human trafficking.  

The remaining six charges come from Summit County and Kremmling: 

  1. Felony – False identifying information / Criminal Impersonation Warrant (Kremmling) 
  1. Felony – False identifying information (Dillon) 
  1. Felony – Identity Theft (Dillon) 
  1. Felony – Possession of Forged Instrument (Dillon) 
  1. Felony – Criminal Impersonation (Dillon) 
  1. Misdemeanor – Criminal Possession of Financial Device (Dillon) 

Police say Torres Hernandez has been living in Keystone under a fake name. He is held at Summit County jail on $100,000 bond for the Texas charges, plus additional bond on his local charges. 

Torres Hernandez is due in local court Jan. 27.
