A missing Avon man, Vicente Roblero Perez, has been identified as the person found dead in the Colorado River this past Sunday.
Avon Police Department identified Perez today after talking with family members. His body was found in Glenwood Canyon near mile marker 126 on I-70.
Cause of death is pending autopsy through Garfield County.
Avon police call his death and disappearance suspicious. Police are actively investigating and interviewing witnesses.
