A man armed with a shotgun tried and failed to rob the 7-Eleven just north of Breckenridge early this morning.
Breckenridge police say the man entered the store around 3:30 a.m. wielding what appeared to be a shotgun. The clerk fled and hid in a locked rear office.
The suspect then tried to enter the office. When he failed, he left the foot on store with no cash or merchandise.
He is approximately 5’4” and medium build, last seen wearing a tan jacket, black beanie, dark-colored bandana covering his nose and mouth, dark blue pants, and black boots.
