The Indy Pass — the grassroots answer to the Epic and Ikon mega ski passes — keeps on growing.

Joining the alternative season pass roster this year is Loveland Ski Area, plus 52 other independent mountains across the U.S.

Indy Pass managing director Erik Mogensen tells the Denver Post this is one of the biggest additions to the Indy Pass since its inception.

Already on the Indy Pass in Colorado are Sunlight, Powderhorn, Howelsen Hill, Granby Ranch and Echo Mountain.

Since launching in 2019 the Indy pass has grown nearly six times larger: 230 mom-and-pop ski hills nationwide this season.
