Oktoberfest Events in Summit County Kick-off Labor Day Weekend at Keystone Resort
It is Oktoberfest season in Colorado’s high country and Keystone’s will be hosted on the Saturday of Labor Day Weekend, September 3rd. Not only is this the first event of its kind this fall, but the lively atmosphere and family-friendly schedule of events at Keystone invites Bavarians of all ages to join the fun, 21yrs or not!
Stein hoisting, free live music from Those Austrian Guys Polka Band, and German fare are just some of the activities in Keystone that make this festival stand out. In addition, new and more varieties of beer will be served into the commemorative Keystone 2022 event stein. The three stein hoisting contests entertain both kids and adults, with 24oz of Budweiser in the men’s and women’s steins, and 16oz of Root Beer for the kids’ contest. The band is playing for free and are complimented by polka dance performances from Denver’s traditional German dance group, the Alpen Auerhahn Schuhplattlers.
