Colorado’s adopted son, Nathaniel Rateliff, is joining the Colorado Music Hall of Fame this year with his band, the Night Sweats.
The band joins the Hall in style. All eight current members will be inducted Dec. 11 at Mission Ballroom during their 20th annual holiday show, which doubles as the 10th anniversary of their breakout self-titled album. Tickets are still available starting at $161 through AXS.
Paul Epstein, co-chair of the Hall board, tells Colorado Sound: “Watching Nathaniel grow from a bashful indie songbird to a world-conquering rock star fronting The Night Sweats and sharing stages with giants of all eras and genres has been a hometown hero story for the ages. He’s one of our biggest, best and most deserving.”
Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats join 60+ artists in the Hall. Many, like Rateliff, came from elsewhere before finding their footing in Colorado. Rateliff was born in St. Louis, Missouri. The group has released four studio albums, peaking at No. 11 on the Billboard 200 with 2018’s “Tearing at the Seams.”
