NYE fireworks and torchlight parades coming to Breck, Copper and Keystone

Welcome 2026 with a bang on New Year’s Eve with three Summit County fireworks shows and torchlight parades.

We all know fireworks. But what’s a ski area torchlight parade? It’s a mountain tradition where ski patrollers, instructors and lifties hoist lights for a gracefully coordinated descent, illuminating the snow like a radiant snake.

Copper Mountain

Come to Center Village early Dec. 31 for a trio of events, beginning with a live DJ set at 3:30 p.m. The annual torchlight parade down Main Vein starts at 6 p.m., followed immediately after by fireworks around 6:30 p.m. Then, head inside to warm up for the NYE countdown at Mulligan’s and more.

Breckenridge Resort

Beaver Run and the Maggie at Peak 9 are the best places to view the NYE torchlight parade at Breckenridge, when the lighted assembly cruises down Sundown to Lower American to Silverthorne. Stick around for fireworks at 9:30 p.m., the latest show in Summit.

Keystone Resort

NYE at Keystone starts the old-fashioned way – night skiing! Bundle up for turns under the lights from 4-7 p.m., and then head into River Run Village to view the torchlight parade at 7 p.m. and fireworks around 7:30 p.m. You can also see the show from the Village at Keystone.

Party into the night at Warren Station with DJ Drake and 80’s cover band The Goonies. There will even be childcare for parents.

Over at Arapahoe Basin the popular NYE Moonlight Dinner with special guest Hazel Miller is sold out.
