Suspicious death and midnight PD call lead to arrest in Frisco

A woman is dead and criminal charges are pending in Frisco, where a late-night medical emergency ended with one person in police custody.

Just after midnight on Monday authorities took a call for a medical emergency at an undisclosed residence in Frisco, town spokeswoman Vanessa Agee says. When police arrived they found an an unidentified woman dead.

Suspicious evidence at the scene convinced police to request a search warrant, which led to the arrest of one suspect.

Additional details are scarce less than 24 hours after the incident, including the relationship between the victim and suspect, and the nature of the initial medical emergency.

The victim’s name and age are pending through Summit County coroner. Criminal charges are pending through the District Attorney’s office.

Frisco PD chief Tom Wickman believes there is no lingering threat to the public. The investigation is ongoing.
