The Blue River through Silverthorne was glowing with hundreds of lights on Friday, Feb. 6, for the annual Wish Lantern Festival.
It’s become a tradition in Silverthorne, where dozens gathered for a multi-cultural festival inspired by Día de la Candelaria and the Lunar New Year. There was food, music, dancing — even dancing dragons! — and, of course, the lights on the Blue, which carried good tidings and wishes from kids and adults.
