David Lee Roth is rocking Dillon Amphitheater this July

Practice your hitchkicks and get ready to jump. Onetime Van Halen frontman David Lee Roth is coming to Dillon Amphitheater on Thursday, July 23.

Dillon Amp today confirmed Diamond Dave is bringing his 2026 live tour to Summit County. He has been rocking since the ‘80s, but he has never rocked the shores of Lake Dillon. No better time than your seventies to suck wind at 9,000 feet!

The 2026 tour opened earlier this year with a set list of Van Halen classics like “Panama” and “Jump,” plus more nostalgia than a trip to your local vinyl shop (RIP Affordable Music). None of Dave’s original bandmates are touring with him right now (RIP Eddie Van Halen) but the team at View From The Cheap Seats says the touring band delivers on a killer setlist.

Who knows? We might even have a repeat of the fabled 1995 Van Halen tour, when Dave and Co. played in a surprise September snowstorm at Fiddler’s Green. Crazier things have happened, like this footage of Dave getting down at the Hard Rock Café in Orlando in the early weeks of this latest tour. We can only hope our vocal chords sound that fresh after four decades of hard rock!
