Colorado Parks and Wildlife will start using this herbicide-spraying drone in spring 2027 to pinpoint and kill invasive plant species in northeastern state wildlife areas, and make room for regrowth of native species that are better for wildlife. The 13-gallon tank sprays herbicide after GPS drones have tracked exactl locations of targeted weeds. Better plants make better cover for native wild turkeys, mule deer, pheasants and more.
