Dillon Amphitheater is a bona fide heavyweight in the live music industry.
Readers of USA Today rank Dillon Amp No. 9 on the latest top 10 list of “best amphitheaters,” putting it in the top 1% of venues nationwide.
In back to back seasons Dillon Amp has set ticket and revenue records, and its reputation keeps growing with sold-out nights this summer for Cake, Rainbow Kitten Surprise and more.
USA Today calls it “one of Colorado’s most scenic live music destinations,” writing “the open-air venue has tiered seating and a spacious lawn, and hosts a lineup of concerts, from nationally touring acts to local favorites, as well as community events.”
3 in the top 10
Colorado claims a whopping three venues on the list, the most of any state. Coming in at No. 7 is Red Rocks – reigning champ of Billboard’s most popular venues list – and taking the top honors in Colorado at No. 4 is Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater in Vail.
“This open-air venue features a covered pavilion and a lush, sloping lawn, ensuring every guest enjoys both stellar acoustics and views,” USA Today writes about Ford Amp, now known as “The Amp” to avoid confusion with Ford Amphitheater in Colorado Springs. “From the sounds of the Bravo! Vail Music Festival to lively concerts, dance performances, and cultural gatherings, The Amp hosts a wide variety of events.”
Claiming No. 1 in the nation is The Pavilion at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, aka the historic site of Woodstock ’69.
