What: Countywide Town Cleanup Day
When: Saturday, May 20
Where: Blue River, Breck, Dillon, Frisco and Silverthorne
Details: Calling all volunteers to help collect a season’s worth of lost mittens and misplaced treasures for the Annual Countywide Town Cleanup Day. Volunteers should check in their respective towns at 9:00am. To clean up in Silverthorne gather at Rainbow Park – Frisco volunteers will meet at the Historic Park, Dillon’s clean up crew will meet at Town Hall, Blue River also at its town hall, and Breckenridge volunteers will meet at the Riverwalk Center. There’ll be a volunteer thank you picnic after cleanup. Contact your town website for more details.

Where: Summit Stage Bus Barn at the County Commons
Details: You can bring your “hard to recycle” items to the Summit Stage Bus Barn – things like gently used clothing, household hazardous waste, pharmaceuticals and electronics. Countywide Cleanup day is sponsored by the towns of Summit County, Summit County Government, The Summit County Resource Allocation Park and the High Country Conservation Center.
