The Google hive-mind agrees – Summit County skiing and riding is at least 4.5 stars.
We dug through years of reviews on Google to find the lovers and haters at Breckenridge, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin and Copper Mountain, plus Loveland Ski Area, which straddles the border between Clear Creek and Summit.
Lovers can’t get enough of the snow, vibes, variety and overall experience in Colorado Ski Country. Take it from Bernardo, giving Copper five stars earlier this season:
“My son and I have had some of the best times there. From challenging bowls and seemingly unending mogul runs, to the smooth yet interesting groomers, to the terrain park(s) to play catching some air. By all means a great resort in the heart of the Rockies.”
Haters complain about parking, cost, life lines, crowding and the cold. And this season has been brutally cold at times, barely getting out of the single digits for nearly a week in January. What’s that old saying: There’s no such thing as bad weather, only bad preparation?
But we don’t judge. We’ll leave that to the reviewers.
