Summit Combined Housing Authority hires Breck’s Corrie Burr amid rampant turnover
Corrie Burr is taking over as the latest new executive for Summit Combined Housing Authority. Burr comes to the Authority from the town of Breckenridge. She inherits a new $1.25 million office in Frisco and a legacy of turnover. The Authority has churned through multiple leaders and employees in three years.
At the same time, local towns and the county have spent tens of millions of dollars on new housing. The authority is the gatekeeper for anyone living in a deed-restricted home or condo in Summit County.
