A felon with a warrant in Summit County was caught near Silver Plume this week.
In his vehicle Clear Creek County sheriff’s deputies found rifles, ammunition and tactical military gear, including fake Federal IDs.
Authorities arrested the 40-year-old suspect without incident when he was spotted on a nearby trail, where he allegedly stashed a handgun. He is charged with multiple crimes ranging from weapons possession to impersonating a peace officer.
