Krystal 93 listeners want to know about rumored muggings in the Silverthorne area.
Rumor says at least four people have been mugged by a serial purse snatcher this week.
Silverthorne Police Department and Sumit County Sheriff’s Office tell Krystal 93 no one has reported any muggings or purse theft, and there are no open cases.
The sheriff’s office has seen a similar rumor on Facebook and Nextdoor but claims no victims have come forward.
