Copper is already having a ski season to remember, and it’s only November.
In 48 hours this week, Monday into Tuesday, Copper claimed 11 inches of new snow for 80 inches total this season. That is nearly a foot more than any month last season.
By closing time today there could be another 8 inches of fresh snow on the slopes. Copper will easily double its snowfall total from November 2023 for the snowiest opening month there since 2018.
And Copper is not alone. If the incoming Thanksgiving storm pans out, every I-70 ski area will beat last November’s snowfall total. Most will double it!
