Did you lose a ski at Keystone this winter?
Odds are good they just found it.
Earlier this week more than 150 volunteers cleaned up the slopes at Keystone Resort. At Dercum Mountain, on popular runs like Spring Dipper and beneath Summit Express, they found hundreds of beads, dozens of lost poles, snowboards and skis, a whole bunch of mittens and gloves, and even a pair of crutches. (Not sure how the owner got off the hill without them…)
Many of the volunteers at Keystone were there with Friends of the Dillon Ranger District, ranging in age from 10 to more than 60 years old.
Far as we know they never found Bobby’s OR glove. We’re thinking it’s a lucky squirrel’s new sleeping bag.
Last week a mountain clean-up video from Breckenridge Resort made statewide news with even more bizarre finds, like an empty gallon of barbecue sauce and a whole pineapple.
