When they aren’t chasing powder, O’Connor Brothers Band is playing classic ski venues

Life ain’t easy for a starving artist. But skiing helps.

“The other three members of our band are Denver boys, but Matt and I aren’t cut out for the city life,” says Sean O’Connor, one of the two O’Connors. “Too much pow to ski.”

The brothers O’Connor claim Keystone as their home, and odds are good you’ll ride a chairlift with them on a powder day.

But don’t think they’re slacking on their night job. O’Connor Brothers Band is booking bigger and better venues this winter, including a coveted show at the legendary Belly Up in Aspen on Dec. 12.

This week for Music At The Summit Krystal 93 is playing “Broken Radio” from the band’s new album The Gulch: nine tracks of original roots rock infused with Colorado ski-town energy.

Hear “Broken Radio” on air at 3:50 p.m. today, Dec. 5, then listen to the full album online.
