WANTED: Former Summit employee accused of using county cash for personal perks

A former employee of Summit County government is accused of illegally spending county money on personal trips and out-of-state Escalades.  Summit County Sheriff’s Office reports the suspect worked for county transit. Over the course of at least several months she used a department purchase card on multiple unauthorized items, including DoorDash, Expedia, Apple Pay, hotels and an Escalade rental.  Sheriff’s detectives believe she racked up nearly $24,000 on those […]
