Dillon Amphitheater is having an identity crisis.
Earlier this year, event staff asked council for a policy for who and what should be allowed to host events there. Staff told council they regularly get asked to host private events, weddings, and even political rallies.
Earlier this month, council butted heads with the town attorney, when council voted to let a local church keep hosting services on stage at the amp. The attorney had recommended shying away from all religious and political events.
Today, June 19, at 5 p.m., Dillon is holding a special meeting for your thoughts on who and what should be allowed at Dillon Amp.
Attend the meeting in person or online.
