Another Silverthorne fast food joint soon to be razed at Exit 205

Chase Bank is taking over the old Arby’s location in Silverthorne.

Chase will demolish the restaurant to build a bank with drive-up ATM.

The owner of that property, The Bailey Company, has owned it since 1984. Bailey Company is working with Chase to redevelop the site.

Here is what town staff had to say about the project in a recent report:

“The proposed bank development will integrate pedestrian connections to the nearby pedestrian network and preserve existing vegetation.

By dedicating a tract for right-of-way to the Town, the project is also contributing to safer and more efficient vehicle access to and from the area.

This redevelopment will also improve Silverthorne’s ‘front door image’ by removing a timeworn, vacant building, and replacing it with a more aesthetically pleasing bank.”

It is the latest redevelopment there at Exit 205. Just recently, the town of Silverthorne tore down the nearby Burger King, which will make room for more lanes on Stephens Way.
