Getting spooky in Summit: Halloween fun for kids, dogs and music 

Summit is celebrating Halloween in style! 

On Frisco Main Street this year is the annual Trick or Treat Street with local businesses. Bring the kids from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. for candy and more. Get there right at 5 p.m. and bring your pup for the Costumed Dog Parade with Summit County Animal Shelter. 

In Breckenridge the Wellington neighborhood is already decked out for trick or treaters, or stop by Gold Run Nordic Center for pumpkin wagon ridesat 3 p.m., 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. 

Highside Brewery is hosting three nights of spooks at the Frisco taproom starting on Halloween with Mud Season Band. On Friday is the John Truscelli Trio with costume contests for dogs and people. Then on Saturday, come back for a “spooky” jazz trio with pianist Eric Lilley, Mark Diamond and Gabe Gravagno. Playing Tenmile Music Hall on Halloween is Sunsquabi. 

On Friday the Outlets in Silverthorne is hosting First Friday with Dia de los Muertos. Visit participating Outlets stores for crafts, food and dance.
